Oui, l’automne est arrivé! And you’re probably getting ready to teach everything about the season. To save you time, I’ve put together this list of French fall classroom videos for you.
Bring on the apple pie and the pumpkin spice latte, and sit down comfortably to watch these fun videos!
French Fall Classroom Videos List
- Si le loup aimait l’automne: your kiddos will love the images and the melody of this song. This is actually a compilation of several short “comptines”. The first one is fall-themed and it lasts about one minute and a half. Even though they share the lyrics in the Youtube description for the video, the words don’t match 100%.
Now come four videos by MiniTFO. Two of them are songs and the other two talk about different aspects of the season (the five senses and the changing colors of leaves). Check them out:
- Chanson: L’automne est arrivé
- Chanson: La valse de l’automne
Here’s another French fall-themed song because, really, we can never have too many songs and nursery rhymes, can we?
Next, a fall-themed story. This is a longer video (compared to the previous ones listed above) and it can generate lots of vocabulary practice and topic discussions. You can start watching from 45 second on because the beginning is just the cartoon opening.
Hope you have found new French fall classroom videos to watch with your students this season!
If there’s another video you’d add to the list, let me know in the comments
Thank you for stopping by!
Merci!
